1. Upon opening the app, the home page does not show the name of the application anywhere. Think it's helpful to have the name of the application so users know what app they're using. Especially when they are first using it.
2. The home screen is very simple and the buttons are very clear and easy for the users to distinguish from one another
3. After clicking on "Decks", I'm prompted with 3 different categories. My first instinct is to click on one of the categories and I assumed that it would open that deck. But nothing happens when the deck is clicked.
4. When clicking on a card to edit, I was at first brought to a blank page. It was only until I expended the screen size that I was able to view everything. I guess the screen had to be big enough in the first place to view the entire application.
5. When choosing a deck to quiz, the buttons are on the bottom. However, when editing the deck, the buttons are on the right side. Maybe keep the buttons on one side. Or make the "Confirm" button bigger.
6. I like that the cards are kept simple. Users view only the card information. Buttons on the button are easy to use and understand.
7. When clicking on Quizzing friends, the top says "Select a Quiz", but there are no quizzes to really select. I can select friends though to start a new quiz.
8. I like that there are the errors messages that pop up when you select to End a current quiz with a friend. Helps to prevent users from accidentally ending a quiz
9. The "Add Friend" and "Delete" button in the Friends page looks like buttons that could be "Checked off". I would maybe suggest making the buttons with the "add friend" captioned on the button. (Like the Home and Back buttons on the top)
10. The concept is pretty cool. Lets users study collaboratively. I like that you are able to have more than one quiz happening at the same time with your friends.
- Heuristic: Aesthetic and Minimalist Design
- Severity: Severe
